Phillies-Diamondbacks lineups announced as Jay Bruce wins an award

PHILADELPHIA – Jay Bruce's first week as a member of the Phillies resulted in the National League's Player of the Week award.

In six games, Bruce hit .381 with 4 homers and 11 RBIs. He scored six runs.

Bruce is in the lineup Monday as the Phillies open a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Citizens Bank Park at 7:05 p.m. He is batting sixth and playing left field.

Jerad Eickhoff (3-3, 4.14 ERA) is the starting pitcher for the Phillies (37-28). He is being opposed by Taylor Clarke (1-2, 4.43) for the Diamondbacks (34-32).

The game will be televised by NBC Sports Philadelphia, and on the radio at WDEL 1150-AM.
